Full Itinerary:

Day 1:

Upon your arrival at Maun Airport you will be met by your private English speaking guide who will accompany you for the entire tour, excluding optional add on. With a late afternoon arrival in camp, watch sunset with sundowners in camp overlooking the waterhole. Enjoy a relaxed dinner at the camp and end the evening around the fire.

Day 2:

Early wake up with a light breakfast, thereafter you have a full morning inside the nearby famous Moremi Game Reserve. Explore the region along the Khwai River, in search of the wildlife that inhabits this region, stopping for a mid-morning coffee/tea break. Back to camp in time for sundowners and showers before the last evening spent here.

Day 3:

Depart the Khwai River, heading to the Okavango Delta for 2 days.

The main activities here are walking and limited boating. All walks will be discussed with the group at the time, and none of which are compulsory. This gives you the options of choosing between the different walks or just relaxing in and around the lodge. Generally the walks are either morning, or afternoon activities, unless the group decides to do a longer walk, a full day walk can be arranged.

Day 4/5:

Breakfast, lunch and dinner to be had in the Camp unless otherwise planned. These days are made up with walking/ exploring of this pristine area. Islands, large and small can be walked at a slow amble, ensuring the group’s safety as there are many different species of animals inhabiting this area, including lion, leopard, wild dogs, elephant, buffalo, impala, kudu, lechwe, and giraffe.

Day 6:

Depart by vehicle from Mokolwane, and head via Maun in a southerly direction to the Central Kalahari Desert. You will arrive at the lodge in the late afternoon, in time to enjoy a relaxed beverage with the Kalahari sunset, before having dinner, and discussing the next day’s activities around the fire.

Day 7:

Early rise to head out on a game-drive to explore this region and to search for some of the animals that live here. This includes Lions, leopard, cheetah, Kudu, Eland, Giraffe, Oryx, springbuck and red hartebeest, to name but a few. Hereafter, be introduced to the San people, or bushman, who are proud to show you their ancient survival skills, ranging from shelters, hunting techniques, tracking and all important fire making.

In the evening, around sunset, the Bushman will perform some of their age old dancing and singing techniques, before retiring to their homes.
