14 nights combining 4 nights at Chiawa Camp with 7 nights at The Bushcamp Company and 3 nights at The Islands of Siankaba

ITINERARY
 
 
DAY 1

On arrival at Lusaka, connect with a flight to Royal Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi. You will be met by a representative from Chiawa Camp and transferred to camp via a short road transfer and a 10 minute boat cruise.

We recommend to stay 4 nights at   Chiawa Camp

DAYS 2-4

Enjoy a wide range of activities including, morning and night game drives, walking safaris, river safaris, canoeing and fishing with expert guides.

DAY 5

Transfer to Royal Airstrip and connect with a flight to Lusaka. On arrival at Lusaka you will connect with an onward flight to Mfuwe. You will be met at Mfuwe Airport by The Bushcamp Company and then taken via road transfer to your chosen camp. Spend the next 7 nights exploring the stunning South Luangwa National Park staying at your choice of bushcamps within The Bushcamp Company (we suggest staying at Kapamba, Chamilandu and Chindeni for this Classic Safari).

DAYS 6-11

Experience a true wilderness experience embarking on walks throughout the park led by guides, drive by 4x4 or relax in the bush camp of your choice. There is an abundance of game here so you are guaranteed a fantastic bush experience!

DAY 12

Transfer to Mfuwe with The Bushcamp Company and connect with a flight to Livingstone. On arrival at Livingstone airport, you will be transferred to Islands of Siankaba. This journey takes about 1 hour. The Islands of Siankaba comprises two densely-forested, sand islands in the Zambezi River, upstream from the internationally renowned ‘Victoria Falls’. The Islands of Siankaba is a classic forested retreat and has been developed as a luxurious camp, offering 7 secluded chalets linked by a footbridge to the main bar and dining area.


We recommend to stay 3 nights at  The Islands of Siankaba

DAYS 13 - 14

Enjoy a visit to Victoria Falls, guided birding and tree walks on the main island’s nature trail, sunset river cruises, dugout canoe trips around the islands as well as rafting on the Zambezi in the rapids near the lodge.  There are also a range of activities on offer from the lodge, including guided tours of Livingstone Town, its museums and Victoria Falls, adrenaline sports in Livingstone as well as game drives to Livingstone’s Mosi-O-Tunya National Park.

DAY 15

Transfer to Livingstone airport by road for your outbound flight.
