The Cradle of Humankind site lies mainly in the Gauteng province with a small extension into the neighboring North West Province, and covers 47 000 hectares of land mostly privately owned. The Cradle of Humankind Site comprises a strip of a dozen dolomitic limestone caves containing the fossillised remains of ancient forms of animals, plants and most importantly, hominids. Hence the reference to it being the "cradle" of humankind. This world cup 2010 final accommodation promises to be an exquisite camping adventure under a magnificant African sky!
Chiefs Tented Camp is a fully inclusive mobile “safari” styled canvas Tented Camp which can accommodate up to 160 Guests. Authentic images of Africa provide the backdrop to what is arguably one of the finest Group and Incentive experiences in Southern Africa. Nights under canvas, a warm log fire and the sounds of the African bush create memorable evenings which are complemented by sumptuous buffet style meals.
