DAYS 1 - 4 CAPE TOWN
Arrive at Cape Town International and take a rental car or airport transfer to your chosen hotel. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, and while we check you in you'll be introduced to the premises and facilities of your Cape Town base for the next couple of days. This is a great time to chat to our staff about your plans for your stay in the Mother City, so that we can help you with recommendations and any bookings you may need to make. Depending on your time of arrival, take advantage of all that Cape Town has to offer and choose one of our recommended things to do in Cape Town before heading out to dinner. For the rest of your time with us our Cape Town teams are here to help you create wonderful memories. Let us know at breakfast or the night before about your intended plans and we’ll gladly assist you with reservations or further recommendations.
DAYS 5-6 HAWKSMOOR HOUSE, STELLENBOSCH WINELANDS
Enjoy a lovely breakfast at your chosen accommodation, choose a last activity in Cape Town before heading off to the Winelands, or if you can't wait to set your eyes on the scenic wine route, head straight out to Stellenbosch for lunch, before checking in at Hawksmoor House from 3pm. Sip on your refreshing welcome drink while we check you in. As we give the tour of the premises and facilities, talk to our staff about your plans for the next two days as we're more than willing to help with recommendations and any bookings you might need to make.

DAYS 7-8 VAL DU CHARRON, WELLINGTON
Linger over a delicious breakfast at Hawksmoor before checking out, and then head out into the Cape Winelands towards your next Winelands destination. Wellington is less than 45 minutes’ drive away, so you have plenty of time for some wine tasting and a lovely Winelands lunch before checking in at Val du Charron. Val du Charron is ideal for exploring the charming Wellington and Paarl wine routes. We also offer wine tasting and olive tasting, as well as cellar tours and spa experiences.
DAYS 9-10 RICKETY BRIDGE, FRANSCHHOEK
After a relaxed breakfast at Val du Charron you have a lovely day in the Cape Winelands ahead of you before you check in at Rickety Bridge in Franschhoek in the afternoon. Franschhoek is less than 45 minutes’ drive away, so you have plenty of time for some wine tasting and a lovely Winelands lunch in the Franschhoek village or vineyards before checking in. Rickety Bridge is ideal for exploring the spectacular Franschhoek wine route, and has a great tasting room and restaurant on site.
DAYS 11-12 BUFFELSDRIFT GAME LODGE, OUDTSHOORN
Linger over a delicious breakfast in the Winelands before checking out, and then head eastward via the beautiful Route 62 to Oudtshoorn. The drive is a beautiful relaxed drive through vineyards, farmlands and the Klein Karoo, and should take about five hours. The roads are good, the scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of stops along the way for food, comfort breaks and petrol. We recommend Barrydale as a great half-way stop for lunch and a browse around the curio shops. On arrival at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, enjoy a welcome drink while we check you in and introduce you to our facilities and plan out your preferred activities over the next two days. Elephant feeding and walking, bush safaris and many other great activities in Oudtshoorn await you. Two days of Karoo game and nature experiences await you.
DAYS 13-15 ROBBERG BEACH LODGE OR REDBOURNE COUNTRY LODGE, PLETTENBERG BAY
Linger over a delicious breakfast at Buffelsdrift before checking out, and then head via George onto the scenic Garden Route and Plettenberg Bay. It’s a relaxed 2-hr drive to Plettenberg Bay. The roads are good, the scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of stops along the way for food, comfort breaks and petrol. On arrival in Plettenberg Bay, breathe in the sea air and savour a welcome drink while we check you in to your chosen luxury accommodation. We'll then show you around your Plett base for the next few days, and offer any recommendations for lunch, dinner or entertainment. If you require any assistance in making bookings for any of your chosen activities we'll gladly help. Enjoy every moment in the beautiful beach paradise where you won't be lacking any action, adventure or places to visit.
DAYS 16-17 CAPE ST FRANCIS BEACH BREAK, EASTERN CAPE
Savour each moment of a delicious breakfast in Plettenberg Bay, have one last walk on the beach or a swim in the warm Indian Ocean before starting your trip along the excellent N2 highway for a comfortable hour’s drive to Cape St Francis. Enjoy the drive and remember to take a break to re-fuel and a quick lunch at one of the many stops along the way. We recommend Tsitsikamma as a great stop for lunch.
On arrival at Cape St Francis Beach Break, enjoy a warm welcome while we introduce you to the various facilities on the Resort, and check you in to your Villa, Cottage or Room. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful beach or pool in the resort, or golfing in the nearby St Francis Links Golf Course. Cape St Francis has great mountain biking routes and water sports available, and for guests not wishing to self-cater, the popular Joe Fish Restaurant in the Resort serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
DAY 18 ADDO, EASTERN CAPE
After a relaxed breakfast at Cape St Francis, you have time for another long walk on the beach before you hit the open road Eastward, on your gentle 2-hour drive to Addo. At Cosmos Cuisine Guest House, Lemien and her team await you. Enjoy a refreshing drink while we introduce you to your Addo base, and assist you with any directions or bookings you may need. After a relaxing afternoon, enjoy a great meal and traditional Eastern Cape hospitality at Cosmos in the evening. In the morning enjoy the specialist elephant experience at Addo Elephant Park before heading out on a short 45-min drive to the Amakhala Game Reserve to check in at 2pm.
DAYS 19-21 AMAKHALA GAME RESERVE, EASTERN CAPE
Arrive at your chosen Amakhala accommodation, breathe in the unmistakable smell of bush and Africa, and enjoy your welcome drink while we check you in and show you around your game lodge home for the next few days. Talk to us about your preferred timing and options for meals. Let us know what we can do to enhance your safari experience. For the next two nights, immerse yourself in the wonders of this majestic part of the world, home to rhino, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, lion and leopard, giraffe, zebra, oryx, bushbuck, kudu, and a rich variety of smaller birds and animals. With two game drives a day, and full board included, let go and let us take care of you and create lifelong memories.
DAY 22 - SAD FAREWELLS
Enjoy a final morning game drive and breakfast feast, before we say our goodbyes.
