BABYLONSTOREN GUEST ACCOMMODATION

• Maximum of just 14 guests units

•8 en-suite one bedroomed guest cottages

•4 en-suite two bedroomed guest cottages which are ideal for families and 4 guests travelling together

•All the cottages have underfloor heating and most have fireplaces

• All cottages have either a garden or vineyard view with an area for alfresco dining

• For families or guests travelling in a small group, Babylonstoren’s historic Cape Dutch home, the five-bedroomed Manor House is available on request only on an exclusive use basis. Please contact us for further details

BABYLONSTOREN GUEST AREAS

• Babel, a Maranda Engelbrecht inspired restaurant, serves clean food with distinct flavours that celebrates the seasons and the bounty of the garden

• A welcome area that is perfect for catching up with the day’s events on the farm or reading after dinner

• The Babylonstoren Spa is set between the garden and the vineyards and has a plunge pool, steam room, sauna and treatment rooms

• The gym overlooks the garden and has modern equipment

• Lose yourself for a few quiet hours while discovering the many layers of Babylonstoren’s beautiful 8 acre orchard and kitchen garden

• Or ask one of our gardeners to take you on a guided visit of the garden and tell you its story

• Join the gardeners in pruning, picking and planting – secateurs and gardening gloves provided

• Wander through the farm’s extensive fruit orchards and vineyards

• Accompany the duck herd as they wander through the farm harvesting snails

• Cycle through the vineyards, around the dams and koppie

• Amble down the spruit (small river) and lose yourself in an abundance of the 7000 clivias

• Canoe on the farm’s dam

• Indulge in a relaxing massage in the spa

• Or cool off in the spa’s indoor plunge pool after a sauna or session in the steam room •

Curl up next to a log fire in your suite with a glass of wine and a book from the library in your suite • Soak up summer sun at the swimming pool

• Capture with your camera the beauty of the historical buildings, the vineyards, the garden and the surrounding amphitheatre of mountains

• Take an early morning or late evening stroll up the Babylonstor- ing Koppie & drink in the astounding views of the Drakenstein Valley & the farm below
