About The Lodge

White Pearl Resorts is situated on a private magnificent sandy white beach in southern Mozambique (south of Maputo and almost on the border with South Africa).

White Pearl Resorts comprises 22 individual suites each with their own private pool and stunning ocean views together with a main area offering a chic restaurant, lounge, bar and large rim-flow swimming pool. Each guest is sure to relish in the tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, which is quite unlike any other in all of Mozambique.

The resort is surrounded by natural beauty, from the Indian Ocean to the east and the Maputo Elephant Reserve to the west. Offering exceptional accommodation, service and cuisine along with some of the finest diving in Mozambique, White Pearl is a fabulous addition to Mozambique’s coastline.

When To Go

The resort is open all year round.

Between June and September, there is an excellent chance of seeing humpback whales migrating

Whale sharks can be seen during most of the year but the best time to see them is from October to March.

Getting There

White Pearl Resort is situated 25 km north of the Kosi Bay Border on the southern coast of Mozambique.

BY AIR:

Guests fly into Maputo International Airport, Mozambique. There are direct local flights from OR Tambo in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

FROM MAPUTO BY HELICOPTER:

Guests can take a beautiful 45 minute scenic Helicopter transfer to White Pearl Resort

FROM MAPUTO BY 4x4 :

A 4x4 road transfer from Maputo to White Pearl Resorts is available.

The drive is 3-5 hours long depending on the weather but we DO NOT recommend it.

Each guest is allowed 1 piece of luggage up to 15 kg in soft bags.

BY ROAD FROM SOUTH AFRICA:

Road transfer are available from Kosi Bay Border (South Africa) to White Pearl Resorts (or vice versa) and take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on the weather and condition of the roads.
